ANDERSON GROUP RAISES £150,000 FOR THE NATIONAL AUTISTIC SOCIETY.

The National Autistic Society (NAS) was the beneficiary charity from a star studded Charity Ball hosted by Anderson Group on Saturday 16th June. The spectacular event at The Dorchester Hotel raised £150,000 which will help the NAS, the UK's leading charity for people with autism, continue its crucial work.

The evening brought together key players in the construction industry including Bellway Homes, Crest Nicholson, George Wimpey and Explore Living with sports personalities Kenny Dalglish, Alan Hansen, Darren Gough and players from the Essex County Cricket Club.

Entertainment was provided by Brit Award winner Heather Small (M People).

Jane Asher, NAS President, said: "The Charity Ball was a delightful evening and very successful for the NAS. We are extremely grateful to the Anderson Group for their support, exceptional organisation and the wonderful funds raised, which will help us support the hundreds of thousands of people affected by autism in the UK."

Funds raised by the Anderson Group will support the NAS Helen Allison School in Gravesend, the NAS Sybil Elgar School in Ealing and the NAS Radlett Lodge School in Radlett. Additional funds raised will support the NAS Advocacy for Education Service, which gives advice on educational provision and entitlements for parents whose children have autism.
