One of the largest annual meeting places for all those involved in the delivery of the project is the Thames Gateway Forum, now in its third year.
November's event was held at the Excel exhibition centre in London docklands and, over 2 days, attracted more than 9,000 industry visitors, all interested in meeting the authorities, companies and industry bodies that, collectively, will deliver the scheme.
Regenerating the Thames Gateway poses complex practical and environmental challenges, with a large proportion of all development on brownfield and contaminated sites. Through subsidiary company 3R, Anderson Group is an acknowledged leader in site remediation and coupled with the re-cycling work carried out by sister company Eco Aggregates, we are one of the few organisations actually delivering the 'green growth' that is a major target for planning authorities.
Long experience, working on a wide range of urban regeneration projects in London and the S East, means that Anderson Group is well placed to meet the challenges that developing in the Gateway presents. Our expertise in Site Remediation, Management of Construction Waste and Regeneration (with a specific emphasis on our ability to deliver mixed use developments via Constable), featured prominently on the Group stand.
