TAVY BRIDGE SITE REGENERATION PROJECT.
Tavy Bridge is a dated and run down housing estate of some 326 residential units, health centre, library, retail units and small community facilities in urgent need of modernisation. It is designated a strategic regeneration area for the Thames Gateway and is of significant importance locally.
Anderson Group's skills and experience in undertaking a broad range of mixed tenure estate regeneration schemes with Local Authorities and Registered Social Landlords will be employed to help to bring new life to the area.
The master plan calls for the delivery of a high quality sustainable community consisting of 923 housing units (555 for open sale) and the re-provision of all other facilities to a high quality contemporary design. The plan will be implemented in 6 phases over a period of 9 years with an emphasis on creating a development that is sustainable socially, environmentally and economically.
Anderson Group will bring a diverse range of skills, experience and enthusiasm to the project. As specialists in urban regeneration the Group is well positioned to address many of the technical challenges posed by the Tavy Bridge site, not least the minimisation of disruption over a lengthy build period.
