Anderson shortlisted for New London Awards

Two Anderson projects have been shortlisted for the upcoming New London Awards, with the winners announced on Wednesday 3rd July at a lunch in the City of London’s Guildhall.

Carpenters Wharf, a collection of 44 high-specification apartments alongside a leading artists studio and gallery space in Hackney Wick, has been shortlisted in the Mixed-Use Category. It’s exceptional design, paying testament to the industrial heritage of the site itself as well as the local area, was the product of a collaboration with industry-renowned architects Studio Egret West. The artist studios and gallery space will be provided rent-free to aspiring artists through Anderson’s own in-house charity, The Anderson Foundation. This shortlisting follows on from success at the Housebuilder and London Construction Awards back in 2018.

Following on from last years award at the London Construction Awards, Anderson’s flagship scheme at Erith Quarry has also been shortlisted in the “Unbuilt Education” category. The Joint Venture development with L&Q will see the delivery of 600 private and affordable homes, alongside a three-form-of-entry primary school.

Winners will be announced here.
