Keeping the business in shape

Although times have been tough over the past seven months, Anderson has recently won £25m in new construction contracts at Thurston, Haverhill, Maldon and Stowupland, with the work in Maldon and Haverhill being initial contracts on multi-phase developments that should lead to further large parcels.

We’ve also sold 76 new homes through our developments at Jasmine Park, Ipswich; Gardiners Park, Basildon; Chilton Place, near Sudbury, The Quarry, Erith and Faversham Lakes. This combined effort will ensure future revenues for the business are secured.

During the same period, Anderson also secured a substantial groundworks and infrastructure contract at Hopkins Homes’ Chitts Hill site in Stanway, Essex. Over the next 18 months, Anderson will deliver roads, sewage connections and groundworks for 100 units.

Glenn Potter, Group Commercial Director at Anderson, said: “These contract wins show that we continue to be trusted by our existing clients in delivering groundworks and infrastructure on their key sites in the East of England. In the current highly-competitive market, the team at Anderson has secured these important projects through over 30 years of experience, the use of technology and a drive to provide best value for our clients.”
