Pride as site manager recognises Anderson with national award

Team members from Anderson are celebrating after winning a prestigious national award – thanks to their site manager.

Initially, Taylor Wimpey’s Site Manager Reece Ward won the National House Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job Quality award for his role at the Aspext development in Hackney, a Taylor Wimpey project of new apartments.

But he then counter awarded it to all of his team members – made up of workers from various companies including Anderson – for helping him achieve it.

They have now gone one step further and been awarded the Seal of Excellence, one of the top honours handed out by the NHBC each year.

It recognises and rewards a site manager’s dedication to achieving the highest standards in house building, as well as their commitment to building homes of outstanding quality.

Reece, Senior Site Manager at Taylor Wimpey London, said: “Myself and my team feel deeply honoured that we were awarded the Seal of Excellence for our site at Wick Lane, Hackney.

“It shows that all our hard work, attention to detail, commitment, leadership for the industry and maintaining the highest quality for our clients and customers has not gone un-noticed.

“Having such a knowledgeable, hardworking and outgoing company like Anderson Group, on our development and as part of our team allows myself, my managers and the client to know that safety, high quality assurance will always be achieved.”

Steve Clark, Production Manager at Anderson, said: “We are really proud to be part of the team on this project, and it is an honour to be recognised in this way. Well done to Reece and everyone on the site team for this fantastic achievement.”
