Anderson has spent many years building up trusted relationships with a host of suppliers – all of which help build quality homes across the country.
These are companies that we work alongside every day – sourcing and supplying us with the vital materials we need to meet deadlines and budgets.
This has been difficult for the industry since Brexit, followed by the pandemic, caused materials shortages. Many of Britain’s builders have struggled to keep pace with the demand for new homes as this continues to affect the sector.
But Managing Director of the Development Business, Glenn Potter, said the incredible relationships it has with its supply chain – along with strategic planning – has been key to keeping business booming.
He said: “Shortages of materials and staff can cause havoc on a project completion date and delays can be costly and disruptive – as many businesses in our industry understand only too well.
We are very lucky that we have the kind of relationships with our supply chain that has allowed us – and them – to plan ahead.
“It is this planning – ongoing stock checks, strong and transparent supply chain relationships, widening supply chains, recruitment and tight project and site management – which has allowed us to continue delivery of projects throughout the crisis.”
