London Marathon sees hot times for Anderson

On the day of the hottest ever London Marathon, eight Anderson runners set their sights on the finish line, raising money for the Anderson Foundation.

The group, ably led by Anderson’s Managing Director, Andrew Jay, managed to raise over £45k for the Foundation, which primarily supports the National Autistic Society.

Andrew said: “Events such as this show the very best of people – the runners have to really dig deep to get through it, the volunteers and emergency services are terrific and the supporters truly are incredible and undoubtedly get you through.

“Each year, our team gets better and better and I am so pleased to have run this again for such a worthy cause.

“This funding will go a long way in helping the Anderson Foundation support the National Autistic Society, who are on-site and in class at the world-leading NAS Anderson School in Chigwell.”

The Anderson Group is also looking to put its staff through their paces at the annual Anderson Foundation charity cycle ride, due to take place Saturday 9th June. For information on this event, please contact Leila Stammers
